For the Love of Coconuts

Coconut oil. I literally eat it every. single. day. My body is probably 40% coconut oil at this point. I throw that bad boy in coffee, eggs, over popcorn... I eat it by the spoon full (don't knock it 'til you try it my friends). Is it just me or does it seem like coconut oil fell from heaven one day and landed in every grocery store in America. Regardless of when or how the coconut oil craze started, I'm glad it did. Needless to say, I love it and if you don't already, I'm here to tell you why you should too.

Coconut oil is comprised of something called medium-chain triglycerides, MCT. About 98% of all fats and oils we eat each day are comprised of long-chain triglycerides, LCT, which is stored in your body as fat. However, the body only uses MCTs for energy.

I could go on about my bestie, coconut oil but I'll skip to the point. Will it make you look like Beyonce/ Kendall Jenner (both perfect). Yes. Coconut oil will increase your metabolism and who doesn't want to do less and burn more calories.
